Join Baltimore Tree Trust for our 2nd Annual Raising the Stake fundraising event this fall! Bringing together partners, community leaders, financial supporters, and friends, this celebration serves as an annual opportunity to collectively renew our commitment to equitably restoring Baltimore’s urban forest, and ensuring every community has access to the mental, physical, and ecological benefits of a thriving tree canopy.

Over the past five years, Baltimore Tree Trust has experience transformational growth from our start as a volunteer-led organization in East Baltimore to a growing team with a planting footprint encompassing the entire city. This evolution is rooted in growing public awareness of trees’ role in creating healthy neighborhoods and the disparities in tree canopy cover across racial and economic divides.

As our organization steadily expands in size and reach, our commitment to the local ties that played an indispensable role in our growth remains unwaivering. As such, this year’s theme– Rooted in Community, Soaring to New Heights– honors the neighborhood associations, community leaders, and long-time residents who have brought us to where we stand today. Funds raised will directly support our signature programs Trees for Public Health and the Neighborhood Forestry Initiative, which work in tandem to improve public health outcomes, and provide sustainable, living wage employment opportunities for city residents.

Baltimore is home to nearly 250 neighborhoods, all of which contribute to the strength and spirit of our city and deserve equal access to a healthy network of trees. Join us this fall and help us raise funds to advance tree equity in Baltimore!
