Alex Smith honored by Center for Urban Families

We are excited to celebrate our cherished colleague and Director of Operations Alex Smith as he is honored at this year’s Center for Urban Families Urban Visionary Awards.
The Urban Visionary Awards recognizes “the accomplishments of champions dedicated to strengthening urban communities by promoting economic success and stability for Baltimore’s and our nation’s most underserved families.”
Alex has clearly demonstrated his dedication to Baltimore city residents by increasing the tree canopy in high-need neighborhoods and creating pathways for green jobs. Alex is a passionate leader and advocate for Baltimore residents seeking to better their lives through employment in the urban forestry industry.
The award ceremony will take place at the American Visionary Art Museum on Tuesday, November 13th at 6pm. You can learn more here.
